A teenage voice out of Rockfort, East Kingston, built on dancehall's DNA and carrying lyrics beyond his years
Wynta hails from the Rockfort community of East Kingston, Jamaica, where the sounds of dancehall and reggae are woven into everyday life. Growing up surrounded by the culture’s biggest names and community members who dared to dream, he absorbed it all and turned it into a style that commands attention the moment the riddim drops.
His musical debut came in the early 2020s, followed by a string of singles that earned him recognition within his community and soon spread across greater parts of Jamaica. That growing reputation caught the eye of Jason Lee of Topranks Entertainment a label gaining serious traction through collaborations with Skillibeng, Valiant, KKrytical, Rajahwild, Ding Dong, and Teejay
Under Topranks, Wynta dropped “Rich Rock” a catchy dance single that pulled attention on social media then followed up with “16 and Bad” and “Ghetto Currency.” He’s been making appearances across multiple platforms, with UK’s DJ AG Online among his most notable. With a career still in its early chapters, Wynta carries himself like a student of the music: humble enough to learn, bold enough to lead.
